The Property Appraiser normally arrives at the property values from three approaches.
Market Value: Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) system is used to determine the market value by analyzing the sales of comparable properties, the cost of reproducing the property, and the potential of the property to increase profitability. The Property Appraiser generally believes that the sales of properties identical to yours that occurred before January 1 are nearly your market value.
