Florida Property Appraiser

Brevard County Tax Collector

Your property tax bill consists of two parts. One part is calculated based on value, and the other is based on fee.

For the value-based part, your property tax is calculated by multiplying the taxable value of your property (the value appraised by the Brevard County Property Appraiser less exemptions and caps) times the millage (tax rate) set by several taxing authorities in the county.

For the fee-based part, stormwater assessments, special assessments, solid waste collection and disposal fees, and any other taxes that are not levied on property value may be included.

How to Pay Property Taxes?

Once the Brevard County Property Appraiser has determined the value and certified the tax roll, you will receive your Annual Property Tax Bill on or before November 1. After you have received your tax bill, you need to decide how to pay property taxes. There are three methods of payment you can choose as follows.

Please notice that if you choose a credit card or debit card to pay your taxes, a service fee of $2.50 or 2.5% is imposed, whichever is higher, however, the use of E-check is free of charge.

If you choose any of the aforementioned methods to pay your tax bills, please use the Property Tax Search Page to search or pay taxes in the following link:

You can enter any related terms in the search box and then click the "Search" button to look up details of accounts, properties, tax bills, etc. If there is a due payment, please click the button at the bottom to make the payment.
