Indian River County Tax Collector

The property tax bill consists of two parts: ad-valorem taxes and non-ad-valorem assessments. Ad-valorem taxes are assessed based on the value of the property and any improvements on it. Non-ad valorem assessments are determined by criteria other than the value of the property, like acreage.

You receive your tax bill in November every year. Early payment will get some discounts as follows. If paid in November, 4%. In December, 3%. In January, 2%. In February, 1%. The deadline for property taxes is March 31. On April 1st, taxes become past due and additional charges are imposed.
