Nassau County Tax Collector

The Tax Collector is responsible for collecting all property taxes as indicated on the tax roll annually starting on November 1. Ad Valorem taxes are based on the calendar year that runs from January 1 through December 31. The tax notices are mailed out to property owners on or before November 1. You can pay property taxes online, in person (at any one of the offices), or by mail (see the address listed in contact information). Early payment would get certain discounts (4% discount in November, 3% discount in December, 2% discount in January, 1% discount in February, and full amount in March).
