Osceola County Tax Collector

The Tax Collector collects the Ad Valorem taxes on real properties annually beginning from November 1 for the current taxing year from January to December.

The Property Appraiser establishes the assessed values of all properties and the taxing authorities set the millage rates. Based on these two figures, the Property Appraiser creates the tax roll and then certifies it to the Tax Collector. Then the tax notices are mailed out to all property owners.

The Tax Collector mails out the tax bills on or before November 1 each year. The Property taxes are due on March 31 of the next year and become delinquent on April 1.

Early payment can get certain discounts as follows, 4% discount if paid in November, 3% discount if paid in December, 2% discount if paid in January, 1% discount if paid in February.

Having Entered the name, address, or account number in the search box, you press the "Search" button and visit a new page. Click the latest bill, and you will know Ad Valorem Taxes, Non-Ad Valorem Assessments, Parcel Details about the property. If there is an amount due, click the "Pay" button to add the tax bill to the shopping cart and pay it.
