Pinellas County Tax Collector

The property tax is a tax on land, building, and land improvements, which is calculated based on the value of the property determined by the Pinellas County Property Appraiser. The taxes collected will be distributed to the taxing authorities in the county.

There are five methods of paying property taxes - pay online, pay by mail with a check, pay by drop box, pay by wire transfer, or pay at the offices of the Pinellas County Tax Collector.

The property tax notices are mailed by November 1st each year, and the taxes become delinquent on April 1 of the next year. Early payment will get certain discounts (4% if paid in November, 3% if paid in December, 2% if paid in January, 1% if paid in February).

How to Use Property Tax Search and Pay?

A Property Tax Search and Pay Page is available on the website.
