Volusia County Tax Collector
The Property taxes are calculated according to the property values and are collected in arrears on an annual basis for the tax year running from January 1 to December 31. The Property Appraiser establishes the property value, and the taxing authorities set the millage rates. The tax roll is established by the Property Appraiser based on these figures and then is certified to the Tax Collector who is responsible for collecting property taxes. The property taxes can be paid by e-check, credit card or debit card, and mail.
How to Search and Pay Property Taxes Online?
The Volusia County Tax Collector offers a Property Tax Search and Pay Page on the website.
You can search the property taxes by entering the name, address, parcel number, alternate key number, or account number in the search field and clicking the search button. Select the latest bill to view the property taxes. You can see the charges, the most recent payment (if any), and other information as it appears on your printed bill. Click the "Pay" button to add the tax bill to the shopping basket and make an online payment if there is a balance due.
